Almond Milk Panna Cotta

Port Wine Pears

Ingredients
  • 2 sweet pears
  • 2 leaves of gelatin
  • 200ml port wine
  • 200ml pear juice
  • 1 cinnamon quill
  • 2 cloves
 
Instructions
  • slice pears
  • boil port wine with cinnamon and cloves
  • add pears
  • add pear juice after 10 min
  • remove spices after 20 min
  • soften gelatin in cold water
  • rinse gelatin and whisk into port/pear mixture
  • fill mixture into glasses and cool in refrigerator

 

Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  •  2 1/2 leaves of gelatin
  • 200ml almond milk (or almond syrup)
  • 250ml of cream
  • 50g of sugar

Instructions

  •  heat almond milk until it gently simmers
  • soften gelatin in cold water
  •  whisk soft gelatin into hot cream
  • let cool until warm
  •  whip cream and gently mix with almond milk
  • fill panna cotta on top of port wine pears
  • keep in refrigerator for 2 hours
